Synovate Aztec acts as a data agent to retailers who wish to sell their data.

Synovate Aztec will be responsible for formatting the data in a releasable state, delivering the data to clients and collecting raw data fees.

This service can also include reporting back to the retailer. Databases and reports can be customised depending on needs.


Synovate Aztec's Data Agency Services focus on both sides of the agent's responsibilities.

In January 2000, Synovate Aztec won the contract to act on behalf of Woolworths Supermarkets in the sale of their (raw) scan data . The services developed, as a result of this relationship, have revolutionised the use of grocery scan data by retailers and suppliers alike.

Progressive

As of May 2003 Synovate Aztec act on behalf of Progressive Enterprises Ltd (NZ) in the sale of their scan data.

• Banner Level Raw Data supplied electronically.

Australian Retail Logistics

"ARL signs with Synovate Aztec. Australian Retail
Logistics, the Qld-based wholesaler has appointed Synovate Aztec as it's sole agent to distribute it's warehouse withdrawal sales data to suppliers. Synovate Aztec will publish weekly warehouse withdrawal data to suppliers by category and SKU in a similar fashion to other grocery wholesalers. ARL has also chosen to use Synovate Aztec's reporting tools to benchmark its performance relative to the total market.

ARL buyers will use Synovate Aztec's SmartView and Temple software tools when conducting business reviews with vendors.
