We are delighted to announce that effective 1st January, 2005 Statewide Independent Wholesalers Limited (SIW) has appointed AZTEC Information Systems (AZTEC) as their data agent. AZTEC will administer the subscription and release of warehouse withdrawal data, and potentially, scanned POS data to vendors. Any data relating to the Independent sector in Tasmania (i.e. through Tasmanian Independent Retailers) may now be obtained through AZTEC via this arrangement.

SIW has also chosen to use AZTEC's reporting tools to benchmark its performance relative to the total market. SIW made the decision to move to AZTEC based on the excellent service offered by AZTEC, plus the opportunity to work with the industry standard in grocery reporting services.

AZTEC looks forward to working with suppliers to help them gain further insight into their business within SIW.
